My name is Deana Tarr, and I am a Qualified Equine Sports Rehabilitation Massage Therapist, Qualified Saddle, Bit and Bridle Fitter, and a BHS Level 3 Coach, with over 30 years of experience in the equine industry.
As both a competitive rider and horse trainer, I understand firsthand the importance of correct tack fitting and its direct impact on performance, comfort, and overall well being. My mission is simple: to ensure horses and riders are comfortable, balanced, and free from pain in their tack and equipment.
I am the founder of The Saddle Barn Ltd, where I provide professional saddle, bit and bridle fittings, saddle reflocking, and supply both new and quality used saddles. I also stock a range of bridles and accessories, along with a large selection of demo bits to ensure a thorough and accurate bit fitting process.
I work with all horses and riders — from happy hackers to competitive partnerships — because every horse deserves to be comfortable and pain-free.
What sets my service apart is my holistic approach. By combining my expertise in saddle and bit fitting with my background in coaching and equine therapy, I am able to assess horse and rider as a complete partnership, ensuring the best possible outcome for both.
